Observation notes: This sighting took place in a mountain meadow near Bismark Tank (near Bismark Lake) in the Coconino National Forest, northwest of Flagstaff, AZ on a warm, sunny afternoon. The moth is feeding on a lupine flower, which are plentiful in the area. The elevation was approximately 8000 ft above sea level on a mountain slope.
