Observation notes: warm day dry 75 windy in bob's gap drainage watch for rattlers. got rattled at once from shrub. glad it warned me. very interesting plants of lots of different varieties, lots of blooms now no sign of juniper hair streak checked lots of shrubs and flowers. pygme blues, metal mark, skipper looked like maybe juba , other blues and orange tips. dusky . numbers low lots of nectar maybe spread out.

Coordinator notes: This is the Bramble Hairstreak, NOT the Coastal Green Hairstreak which does not occur in Los Angeles County. Callophrys perplexa is a synonym.
