Observation notes: The reddest of the Euphydryas individuals photographed along the trail. This form was only seen around 5000-5500' in subalpine meadows.

Coordinator notes: This record must be accepted tentatively, as this area is a blend zone beteween colon and anicia. However, shape of forewings and colors lean toward anicia. - correction, Jon Pelham has identified this as colon.
