Observation notes: Florida White was observed nectaring on asters: Bidens alba (in photos) and Melanthera nivea, plus scorpion-tail (Heliotropium angiospermum). A decent day for butterflies (and shorebirds) at Bahia Honda State Park, lots of gulf fritillaries, plus great southern whites, sulphurs, gray and martial's hairstreaks and cassius blues. Warm, humid, mostly overcast with wind 15 mph down to nothing, depending on your exposure.
