Observation date: April 07, 2026
Submitted by: zencoyote
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Hilltopping and settling on Manzanita. Weather clear and 75 degrees. No wind. Other flyers include C. augustinus and C. dumetorum. The colors are dull, but the wings appear undamaged. Has a very sharply defined forewing tip and an apparent gap between the fore and hindwings. About the size of an Elfin. If I was going to guess just based on appearance I would say either a very weird C. augustinus or C. fotis.
