Observation notes: Possible fall laid? It’s been mild temperatures this season untill this week. Multiple caterpillars on these plants. 4+ that I saw quickly. Appears healthy & large. Eating on host plant “Flax-leaved Horseweed” in Santa Monica CA. This location is a native garden space o created within last year. Never had these prior here on our property. Will continue to monitor & create space for host plant.
