Observation notes: I knew I was looking at a new skipper for me when I saw the shape of this skipper. I had never seen a skipper in the yard that looked so long, and rectangular rather than triangular. It was feeding on the nectar of Blue Mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum) flowers.
