Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: One of my local "most wanted" species, especially after nearby iNat observations in 2022. A single male(?) in a flood-scoured gully. Seeking shade as the temp rose. Just within Jefferson County.

Coordinator notes: Certainly is A. aenus. Can't see clearly enough to tell if male or female but probably a male being in the flood blown-out creek...Yes, they do like bare creek bottoms but especially steep rocky ravines in canyons (and they go to wet soil-sandy spots when newly emerged. Mike
