Observation notes: Warm, sunny day. Light breeze. Habitat: open meadow between Marys Peak day use parking area and mountain summit. Nectaring on Oxeye Daisies. Did my best to photograph dorsal as well as ventral wing surface.

Coordinator notes: In Oregon, Colias occidentalis can have orange females and I have some orange examples of that from the Ochoco Mountains I collected July 13, 1996. But most likely, this is an Orange Sulphur...Ken Davenport
