Observation notes: I have walked Big River Trail in Mendocino for quite a few years now and just noticed Sara Orangetip about 2 years ago, I wonder if I was just overlooking them or if this species is something new here. Thank you Ken Davenport for all your help with identification on butterflies. I enjoy taking photos but definitely not a scientist.
