Coordinator notes: Great find! You probably have Virginia Creeper or Grape near by and it overwintered in the ground near the roses. It appears it emerged this morning. It takes many hours for it to prepare itself for flight. It should leave once it gets dark. However, I have had them remain in the same location for over 24 hours before they were ready to go.
