Coordinator notes: good job on the diagnosis. Butterflies of NM calls this nausicaa (Southwestern), as you suggested, but BAMONA has so far been unpersuaded by the published DNA work and is sticking with hesperis (Northwestern) for the time being. under either approach, this is subspecies dorothea. you show a male and a female. thanks for getting this into the database!
