Observation notes: Unfortunately this 'fly was really skittish and did not allow for an underwing pic. I was able to sneak-up on it for the dorsal image but it soon took flight and went over the hill, not to be seen again. Key field marks: triangular shaped spots at the edge of the wing coupled with bright white/black checkered fringes.
