Date notes: A hot humid day in Southwest Florida. Emerged from chrysalis at 11:30 am this morning. The chrysalis is on our lanai. Been watching it for a few days.

Observation notes: It was still in its chrysalis early this morning. Checked back at 11:30 and it had emerged. Stayed with its wings folded until it rained and it got wet. Then it flooded around a tiny bit not far from the screen that it is on. Now it has opened up and it’s drying out.
