Observation notes: Individual was found sitting on a screen nearby exterior lights. Colouration is mottled greys and browns, with a distinctive pale Y-shaped marking on the wings. Colouration becomes paler closer to the wing tips. Body is furry and rounded, head is visible but not particularly prominent. Antennae are thin. Side profile of the collar cuts an identifying silhouette of wavy ridges.
