Date notes: I had a borrowed camera which did not have the time set correctly, but I found this moth in the late afternoon.

Observation notes: It was a sunny, warm day. Calm winds, 77*F. This Pyrgus was puddling alongside a dirt road with a slow trickle of water from the adjoining hillside. There was one other of the same species as well.
