Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID is correct. This is often a common summer butterfly in the high altitude. These are the offspring of females that hibernate over the winter at lower altitude, mate in spring and migrate into the mountains to find a host and their lay eggs that produce the summer flight. Very pretty butterfly. Mike
