Coordinator notes: Your sighting is the Orange Sulphur (aka Alfalfa Butterfly) which is the other most commonly seen sulphur, especially on the eastern plains. The Clouded Sulphur rarely has any orange color on the upper wings. It is also paler, more yellowish on the underside and the spots often are less well pronounced and a smaller species, especially in the late summer. Mike
