Observation notes: Along with many other insects feeding on thistle (Cirsium sp, probably C. ochrocentrum) alongside a catch basin that had quite a bit of water in it (rest of the area is very dry). 2 or 3 of this form plus one of the yellow form to be submitted separately. Photos are of two different females (same species)
