Date notes: Found a number of these on several persimmon tree saplings I have growing in pots

Observation notes: The caterpillars did not appear to be eating the persimmon leaves at all. Most of the dozen or so were not very active at all. Also a lot of what appeared to be small black eggs in several locations on the saplings. The persimmons are locally grown - Pennsylvania - and are a native U.S. variety.
