Coordinator notes: Awesome photograph! These are actually Two-tailed Swallowtails. You can see the shorter second tail underneath the first. The Western Tiger Swallowtail is most often found higher in the foothills and mountains, usually about 6,000 ft.+. It sometimes overlaps with the Two-tailed Swallowtail, but not often in my experience. Thanks for submitting your sighting!
