Observation notes: Butterfly nectared on Douglas’s buckwheat. Never showed it’s underwings unfortunately. Temp was 74. Calm. Hazy. 2965’ elevation. Field of buckwheat had many butterflies. Overgrown and difficult to maneuver thru with possibility of snakes.
