Observation notes: On Aug. 15, 2019, a bright sunny day, the caterpillars were devouring every part of my spider lilies (host). They were not on the Day lilies, Amaryllis, Peonies, Crepe Myrtles, nor any other plantings. We have been at this location since 2001 and have never seen the caterpillar until 2019. Have never seen the Spanish moth.
