Observation notes: Host plant is Salvia sp. with purple flowers. There are several of what I assume are the same species of caterpillars together in a garden patch of Salvia. The group of caterpillars has slightly different base color shades of red, pink, and light brown, all with varying degrees of dark bands and longitudinal lighter stripe on the sides.
