Observation notes: Feeding on Helenium bigelovii near a rocky stream. This is what my typical female pulchella (assuming this is pulchella) look like. But, I now think some of the other Phyciodes I've recently submitted are also pulchella females. I need to get better forewing shots and or collect a few. Also, see Sighting 1167543 for a similar example of my female pulchella.
