Observation notes: Sunny and somewhat windy. While still seeing a few Painted Ladies around I hadn’t seen any of the other ladies this year until this West Coast Lady appeared. This species has always been harder to find on the Mendocino Coast and it’s the latest in the year I’ve found one.
