Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I saw this moth this morning when I was weeding an overgrown flower bed. It was a very nice, sunny, breezy day in the mid 80's. The flower it was resting on is shaded by the house. I took a few photos. This evening I went out again and it's still there. I am not sure what to make of that. Do they 'sleep' all day? I have more questions than answers. First photo at 10 a.m., second one at 7:30 p.m. I just went out again and am relieved the moth is gone at 9:00 p.m.
