Observation date: August 01, 2019

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Seen in the middle of road as I was leaving Baker Wetlands. Wasn't sure if it was hurt or not, so tried to help if I could. Would fly a little bit, but seemed to prefer remaining in the road. Not sure if it found something tasty in the cracks of the road or if it was trying to regain its strength after a close call? Let me get quite close but wouldn't let me pick it up. Size: Little larger than one I'd seen earlier, approx. 3" wingspan. Weather: 82 degrees, 80% humidity, temperature rising while humidity falling. Heavy rainfalls yesterday and part of this morning.
