Observation notes: A fast flyer, chasing the Monarchs and Whites in roadside decorative plantings. Several kinds of Skippers were also present, including a Duskywing, which seem prevalent this year. Much darker than Painted Ladies, and more orange spots than white, and prominent eye-marks on the hindwings. Very humid day, and temps crossing into the 80's.
