Coordinator notes: This is a publishable record for this newly named subspecies, but let me know a specific locality. There are no published California records for this subspecies-Ken Davenport. Yours is one of two records I know of for this recently described subspecies named marya published in the Journal of the Lepidopterists' Society March 7, 2018 by Robert Michael Pyle and Paul Hammond. The Season Summary is a list of published records, some will be in the hard copy, all wiil l be in an electronic database. Scott, the electronic reference you sent me did not include my Yosemite Butterflies Text publication where I published several Mariposa Copper records, but all the nominotypical Lycaena mariposa. The two records for marya will also go in a California early and late flight period publication, I am the records keeper for California, so I am the Coordinator for the annual Season Summary, but the person who oversees the whole country has the last word on weather this will be hard copy or just electronic, which is accessible to the public. The Season Summary hard copy is free if you are a member of the Lepidopterists' Society. Keep up the good finds!-Ken Davenport
