Five-spotted hawkmoth
Manduca quinquemaculata

Observation date: April 12, 2019
Submitted by: Amandalbrothers
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Sunny and high 70's. It was on a power pole. The green spots are grass clippings. I think maybe it's wing is out because I startled it with the mower? I had no clue what it was until I caught a glimpse of the yellow spot under it's left wing.
