Observation notes: This white moth was laying egg masses on my amaryllis bloom. I parted her wings enough to see the yellow body with black marks to help identify her. I have found yellow bear caterpillars on my amaryllis leaves in past years. How can the bloom last long enough for
caterpillars to hatch?
