Observation notes: I brought the cacoon inside for the winter, as it was attached to a perennial plant. On the evening of April 10, 2019 I noticed the butterfly on the floor when I entered the room. It's neutral, earth tone, colorless wings was fresh out of the cacoon; fragile and weak. It fluttered onto the a space close to the stove vent where it remained until it's wings dried and the color began to appear. The Moth remained there all night. It sounded like it was singing during the night. By morning its earth tones was highlighted with pretty pastel colors. It was an enjoyable privileged experience. The awe conclusion, it was released into nature.
