Observation notes: They're here! I saw my first ones at Bodega Bay on 3/15. In 2 hours and 40 minutes of hiking, I'm estimating that I saw around 75. Most were moving rapidly. there were a few Tortoiseshells, but not that many. Also out were Common Ringlets, Mourning Cloaks, and Silvery Blues. from mid 50s at start to mid 60s at end.
