Observation notes: Stretched out on concrete paver in front of door under raised deck. Curled into a coil when disturbed. Overcast night sky, 55F, 83% humidity. Nearest plants 10' away, grass. House set in grove of pine, oak, maple, birch and other deciduous trees, blueberry bushes, native asters, mixed native bushes down to shoreline.
