Observation notes: Skipper was HUGE - in length. A good 1.5-2" long. It visited the zinnias in our yard north of Atlanta several times - and flew at me several times. I had not seen Brazilian skippers in 9 years - since photographing several on pickerel weed in Corkscrew Swamp in South Florida. So I never expected to see this species here - though I have also gotten Dorantes longtail and Tropical checkered-skipper in our yard. A likely Cherokee County GA record.
