Observation notes: Partly cloudy, very humid, about 85 degrees; there had been some drizzle a couple of hours before, and rain the night before. This moth landed on the pavement and stayed quite still. Nearby were sycamore, oak, maple, beech, white pine, redbud, wingstem, milkweed, poison ivy, grapevine, autumn olive.
