Observation notes: Time: 1:13 p.m. Weather: Hot, breezy, and sunny. Habitat: Right on the border between a transitional ecotone and an upland shrub habitat (lots of mountain mahogany). Notes: This is the only Field Crescent I saw on the entire hike. Unlike the other crescent, this one was very cooperative for the camera.
