Coordinator notes: This is actually a Two-tailed Swallowtail, common in urban areas and foothills throughout Colorado, but especially along the front range. The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail is usually only seen in far eastern Colorado, out on the plains. Both are members of the swallowtail family (Papilionidae), and are closely related.
