Observation notes: The caterpillar was quickly crawling across a sidewalk in a neighborhood in Zionsville, Indiana. The temperature was 75°F at the time. The neighborhood has many typical varieties of deciduous trees near by. The closest tree to the sidewalk is an Amur Maple.
