Observation notes: The caterpillar walked onto our carport of Birmingham Alabama. In September 2017. Our niece about to step on it and then we made a terrarium to house it. It cacooned the next evening. The cacoon remained in the terrarium for 9 months until last evening. She began her transformation about 3pm . i have pics from capterpillar to this one. We named it Alecia.
