Observation notes: Hot Day very dry these had orange very bright on dorsal side, when flying off or during short flights to other flowers. this is one that no matter what direction you look at it the color changes its very reflective scales of many shades! chaparral sage scrub with ceanothus and also oaks Blue oaks or white oaks same tree different names!
