Observation notes: Nectaring on nine-leaf desert parsley (Lomatium triternatum). Warm sunny afternoon, light wind. The hairstreaks in this area prefer this species of parsley compared to the pungent desert parsley and barestem desert parsley that's also present. The butterfly has some C. dumetorum characteristics.
