Coordinator notes: You really have good luck with more inconspicuous butterflies in Colorado! This is indeed the Marine Blue, one of the easiest blues to identify due to it's one-of-a-kindness. This subtropical species' resident range is Baja California south to Central America, but they irregularly colonize northward into the United States. They are fairly uncommon in Larimer County, especially as late as you found this one. Another great find!
