Observation notes: about 4 or 5 seen in about an hour and a half. mostly they were low down, sometimes on vegetation, but mostly puddling at one particular sunny puddle with riparian habitat on both sides of the trail. Others puddling with it were Tortoiseshells (on dry dirt about 10 feet from puddle) and Echo Azures.
