Observation notes: Very warm February day. Sunny with little wind. Observed several bright orange butterflies flying. Caught up with two of them nectaring on the only thing blooming, two different types of manzanita, Pygmy Manzanita and an unknown type. Observed as many as seven of these butterflies.
