Coordinator notes: Both Clouded and Fawn-spotted Skippers are in the LRGV and they can look similar. This one is a Clouded Skipper. I consulted a fellow BAMONA reviewer to be sure and here's what he said. "This one is definitely Clouded female skipper to me since it shows the forewing edge white ticking and subapical band bent outward. Also the Fawn spotted usually has a light basal area of the ventral forewing as well as a light spot above the dark band." SAT
