Observation notes: The butterfly was found on a carved Halloween pumpkin, drinking from the fruit. It was a fresh pumpkin that had been carved two days beforehand.

Coordinator notes: C. cecrops isn't usually found in Connecticut, but is more typically found in the southeast United States. With warming temperatures, perhaps this species is expanding its range to the north.
