Two-tailed Swallowtail
Papilio multicaudata

Observation date: August 24, 2017
Submitted by: zach_lustig
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Found it right outside my apartment just south of the CSU campus. I could not identify the plants in the photos.
Status: Resident
Verified by: A_baldini
Verified date: December 20, 2017
Coordinator notes: I know from experience that Two-tailed Swallowtails are extremely common around CSU, especially the gardens. That, along with the lighter orange coloration of the larvae (as compared to the Western Tiger Swallowtail) proves that your ID is correct.
