Coordinator notes: This image was reviewed on 1/27/19. The duskywing in the image does not display the critical diagnostic feature of the hindwing fringe of Erynnis funeralis, which was the original ID. The proper ID is revised to E. baptisiae. The latter duskywing may have a grayish-white hindwing fringe at times, especially in summer brood individuals. This degree of "whiteness" however never reaches the uniform brilliant bright white of E. funeralis.
